SMBC Group

SMBC Group has proudly served as the Principal Partner of Tokyo Gendai since its inception. We support artists and offer opportunities for people to engage with art through event sponsorships and exhibitions at our headquarters. At the Earth Garden on the 1st floor of the SMBC East Building, the space has also been used for art events, supporting efforts to make art a more familiar part of everyday life. Art-related initiatives are planned from October onward, and we will continue to contribute to the development of culture and the arts.

DIOR

Christian Dior – a gallery owner and collector before becoming a couturier – was a friend and loyal supporter of the artists of his time. Today, the House of Dior remains faithful to this heritage, celebrating and supporting art in all its forms and perpetuating a vibrant dialogue between fashion and contemporary creation.

Perrier-Jouët

Founded in 1811 in Épernay, France, Perrier-Jouët is a prestigious Champagne Maison renowned for its elegant, floral Chardonnay-driven cuvées and its longstanding connection to art and nature. Since Art Nouveau master Émile Gallé created its iconic Japanese anemone motif in 1902, the Maison has collaborated with visionary artists and designers worldwide, celebrating contemporary creativity through experiences inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

Today, LALIQUE ART places the expertise of Lalique at the service of major contemporary artists, designers with flair, and cultural foundations; the aim is to create unique and exceptional works of art. LALIQUE ART offers artists new inspirations and motifs, using the interplay of light, transparency, color and contours. This extraordinary encounter between art and crystal is giving rise to new forms of creative expression.

LED TOKYO

Our business focuses primarily on the sale and rental of LED products. In addition to indoor and outdoor products, we offer a wide range of equipment—including flat and curved surfaces, floor-mounted units, and spherical displays—and provide short-term rental options. We boast one of the top track records in Japan for event installations, spanning everything from entertainment to business.

Warehouse TERRADA

Founded in 1950 and based in Tennoz, Tokyo, Warehouse TERRADA operates specialized storage businesses for artworks, wine, film, confidential documents, and more. Its art storage business provides one-stop services including restoration, transportation, and exhibition support, while also operating a bonded warehouse and bonded gallery. Through artist support and cultural initiatives, it contributes to invigorating Japan’s art market.

ArtSticker (https://artsticker.app/) offers a wide range of contemporary art-related services, including online art sales and e-ticketing for exhibitions. We also operate four physical art spaces, such as Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura (Azabudai Hills) and Gallery & Bakery Tokyo 8 min (Kyobashi). In addition, we provide art coordination services for hotels, commercial facilities, and offices. We are proud to support the Hana Art Award. (Operated by The Chain Museum, Inc.)

Soho House Tokyo

Soho House Tokyo, a private members’ club located in Omotesando, opened its doors in April as the brand’s first location in Japan. Designed for individuals with a creative mindset, this exclusive space is accessible only to members and their guests. The interior showcases an impressive art collection of works by 40 Japanese and Japan-affiliated artists, including Yuko Mohri, Ryoji Ikeda, and Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, brought to life through careful collaboration with Soho House, including custom-commissioned pieces. Enjoy an inspiring time in the refined club spaces or by the infinity pool.

MAISON CINQUANTECINQ

MAISON CINQUANTECINQ, a French bistro in Yoyogi-Uehara, is rooted in the traditions of French cuisine while embracing the beauty and seasonality of Japan. We place particular emphasis on seasonal vegetables, carefully drawing out their natural character and vitality. Each dish, crafted with thoughtfully selected ingredients and refined technique, offers an experience that engages all five senses through flavor, aroma, color, and lingering finish. At Tokyo Gendai 2026, enjoy a unique culinary experience where art and gastronomy come together.

Vitra

Vitra is a Swiss company founded in 1950. Creating innovative products and concepts with great designers is Vitra’s essence. Developed in Switzerland, its products are used worldwide to create inspiring spaces for living, working and public use. Vitra also engages in cultural activities beyond its business operations, including the Vitra Campus and the Vitra Design Museum. The company preserves and reissues design classics by Jean Prouvé, Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton and others.

The Westin Yokohama

The Westin Yokohama is a luxury hotel dedicated to wellness of body and mind, with a deep connection to art. Guests are greeted by Departure, a metal sculpture by Takeharu Nakabayashi inspired by a sailing ship, evoking a quiet sense of anticipation. Throughout the hotel, around 500 artworks by Japanese and international artists—including abstract ink and oil paintings by Yuri Kabata—reflect themes of nature and Japanese aesthetics, enriching the space and gently stimulating the senses.
