Art is a mirror of society, and it also looks towards a future we can aspire to. As organisers, we similarly encounter new discoveries and delight in trying to make our dreams a reality.

At its core, I believe our work as a fair is to help fortify the art infrastructure. By bringing together galleries, museums, artists, collectors, and art lovers together under one roof, I strongly believe we can create unexpected chemistries and catalysts for a bright future.

Though the fair is only open a few days each year, the venue overflows with incredible energy. It is thrilling just imagining the synergy- Japan’s contemporary artists shown and contextualized alongside art and galleries from around the globe.

Through our programming we want to create a level space where people can deepen relationships across borders. We hope to open up new conversations through our new programs- championing creative talent with our new prize and our special exhibit, as well as introducing our first ever curatorial symposium to create a new space for dialogue and reflection.
